THE FACES OF HUMANITY
|
Innumerable faces,
all known to God; created, loved, saved by Him, all without distinction, all without exclusion. Faces with which Christ wanted to be identified. To the, God sends us: in particular to those who are still waiting to hear about Christ; to those whose faces are lined by suffering, destitution, rejection and exclusion ... From these we learn the deep values and frailties of humanity within different cultural expressions. With them we live in solidarity, we struggle for justice. In them we discover the signs of the Kingdom already present; we gather its expectations which jostle us because a new life is coming to birth. |
