Following Christ ...

"Our charism, which God confided to Mary of the Passion, commits us to follow Christ as he gave himself up to the Father for the salvation of the world, in the mystery of his Incarnation and his Pasch;
thus we make up in our bodies all that still has to be undergone by Christ for the sake of his body the Church." (cf. Col 1:24)  (FMM Const, 2)

.

THE FACE OF CHRIST

Jesus who journeys on human paths
,
announcing News of peace and joy,
revealing the Father's face of tenderness and mercy.

Jesus, the beloved Son,
drawing us into his relationship with the Father,
giving us his Spirit which forms with us
the face of a child of God.

Jesus, sent by the Father, who says to us
"Go into the whole world,
proclaim the Gospel to all creation."

Christ in the Eucharist,
face turned towards humanity:  bread broken, life
given so that the world may live;
face turned towards the Father:  life lived in gratitude
which has become a song of thanksgiving.

The Risen Christ who says to us:
"You, follow me"  (Jn 21:22):
a call to walk in his footsteps,
to travel his path
which traverses suffering and death
in order to transform suffering and death
in order to transform them
into resurrection for all humanity.

The Eucharist is the Centre of our life.

Our participation in Christ's sacrifice prolonged in Eucharistic Adoration, permeates our whole existence with praise, offering and intercession.
